INFORMATION SHEET

GENERAL RUBBISH:
Your bin must NOT contain:

• Large tree stumps (may go into bin but beware it will probably put you over weight limit)
• Tyres
• Paint
• Fibrolite (asbestos)
• Polystyrene
• Bulk sawdust (must be bagged), bulk food waste, bulk glass
• Medical waste, Hazardous goods
• Hardfill/Cleanfill – We have separate bins for this please see below
• No root systems with soil attached
• No branches of more than 10cm in diameter
• PLEASE BE AWARE OF WEIGHT LIMITS

RUBBISH MAY BE RETURNED IF ANY OF THE ABOVE IS PUT IN THE BIN

If any general or hardfill is found mixed in with green waste, general rates will apply.

Weight limits for General and Green Waste: 9cu.m 1.5 ton (10 small trailers) 6cu.m 1.0 ton (7 small trailers) 4cu.m 710kg (4 ¾ small trailers) 3cu.m 450kg (3 small trailers)

HARDFILL OR CLEANFILL

• Cleanfill - 4cu.m or 3cu.m sized bins only.
• Hardfill - 3cu.m sized bins only

Please note the following:

• If any general rubbish is found mixed in with hardfill, general rubbish rates and weight limits will apply.
• Our hardfill/cleanfill bins now have three separate categories:
• HARDFILL = Rocks, Concrete, Bricks, Tiles only
• CLEANFILL = either clean clay OR clean topsoil, that is not wet and does not contain any organic or other contaminants, e.g. rock, concrete or rubble.
• MIXED = any combination of the above.

NOTE: Wet cleanfill will be charged at the mixed rate

Please note the following for all bins:

• Do NOT fill bin past level (e.g. top of bin).
• Do NOT move bins once they have been delivered to your site.  Any bin requiring salvage, or that is irretrievable, or that is damaged during moving or retrieval, is at the hirer’s expense.
• Changes to pick-up day; please phone us 24 hours in advance, or a service charge will be incurred.
• OVERWEIGHT CHARGE = 18 CENTS PER KG (incl gst)

Due to the rules and regulations of NZ Land Transport Safety Authority, the NZ Police and the Occupational Health and Safety Authority, overloaded and insecure loads in bins cannot be transported.
